With Gratitude Moving from Orange to Blue

THE ORANGE PHASE 1995 - 2025:
It all began 30 years ago on March 1, 1995, with my PhD research paving the way for the IFCN Dairy Research Network. As the founder and CEO of IFCN, the Orange phase symbolized growth and innovation in global dairy knowledge.

Nearly two years ago, I passed on the leadership of IFCN to the next generation and supported the transition. I am deeply grateful to AB Agri, Łukasz Wyrzykowski, and the entire IFCN team in Kiel for their dedication in making 2023 and 2024 such successful years for the IFCN network.

A special thanks to John Allen for his invaluable support and for stepping into the role of Chairman of the IFCN Advisory Board.

THE BLUE PHASE:
Now, I am entering a new phase, shaped by two initiatives close to my heart:

T.H. Foundation – A way to give back. I have received so much from so many people, and my goal is to support agricultural research and students through philanthropy.

T.H. Consulting – acting on request in:
• Supporting people, companies, and organizations in agriculture
• Providing keynote speeches and lecturing activities
• Assisting in projects and initiatives

MY ROLE IN IFCN TODAY?
Many have asked about my current involvement with IFCN.

Today I am connected as a member of the advisory board (2 meetings per yesr) and - on request- act as a dairy expert in projects like the one with Global Dairy Platform Inc. and the Gates Foundation, focusing on carbon markets for dairy farmers, especially in developing countries.
