Mircea Munteanu Appointed as New Head of Sales at Danone Romania

Mircea Munteanu has taken over the position of Head of Sales at Danone Romania as of May. Prior to this role, Munteanu was the Shopper Activation Manager for Danone Romania and Bulgaria, a position that involved coordinating various sales teams and projects at a national level.

Munteanu's career with Danone began in 2013, and over the years, he has held several roles, including Area Field Manager, Modern Trade Channel Manager, and Shopper Activation & Catman for Romania and Bulgaria. His experience has helped him act as a connector between different functions and teams within the company, significantly contributing to the development of the local business.

In his new role, Munteanu will oversee commercial operations and work towards consolidating Danone's leadership position in the Romanian dairy and plant-based markets. He takes over from Lubomir Spasov and will be a part of the sales leadership team for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), reporting to Enikő Bolyós, the Sales Director for CEE and Ukraine.
