Mircea Munteanu Appointed Head of Sales at Danone Romania

Starting in May, Mircea Munteanu steps into the role of Head of Sales at Danone Romania. Munteanu, who joined Danone in 2013, has previously held several key positions, including Field Zonal Manager and Modern Trade Channel Manager. His new responsibilities include coordinating the company's commercial operations and enhancing Danone's leading position in the yoghurt and plant-based products market.

Danone Romania, recognized for its high-performing factory in Bucharest, sources milk exclusively from local Romanian farmers. The plant not only supplies the Romanian market but also exports to 18 other European countries, highlighting its significant role in the region's dairy industry.

As part of his new role, Munteanu will report to Enikő Bolyós, the Sales Director for Central Europe and Ukraine. He replaces Lubomir Spasov, who has ended his tenure with the company. Danone's strategy focuses on strengthening its sales leadership in Central Europe by integrating experienced professionals like Munteanu into key positions.
