Milma to Host Regional Workshops to Boost Dairy Sector

Milma, the prominent dairy cooperative based in Kerala, has announced its plans to conduct regional workshops aimed at its dealers. This initiative follows a memorandum of understanding recently signed with Kerala Bank. The workshops are designed to ensure greater credit flow into the dairy sector, particularly supporting farmers and dairy entrepreneurs.
The primary goal of these workshops is to facilitate the seamless implementation of the scheme, allowing dealers to benefit from timely support. The sessions will include gathering relevant data from dealers across the state to streamline the process.
A meeting held by the Milma federation along with its three regional unions set the timeline for these workshops either by the end of March or in early April. The federation's proactive approach underscores its commitment to strengthening the dairy industry in Kerala.
This is part of Milma's broader strategy to position itself as a leader in sustainable dairy practices. Recently, the Ernakulam branch of Milma became India’s first fully solar-powered dairy, marking a significant milestone in renewable energy initiatives within the dairy sector.
