Lancashire Farm Dairy posted record profits in 2023, with a 124.4% rise in operating profits to £9.2 million for the fiscal year ending 31 January 2024. Sales climbed 18% to £78.9 million, boosted by new listings with major UK and European supermarkets, widening the Rochdale-based company’s reach in a highly competitive market.
The company attributed its growth to an aggressive push in new product development aimed at health-focused consumers. “Our NPD strategy is centred on natural, nutrient-rich options,” a company spokesperson said, noting that this approach has solidified Lancashire Farm’s reputation as an industry innovator.
A commitment to sustainable practices also supports the brand’s appeal, with all milk sourced from free-range, grass-fed cattle. “Our record-breaking year is a testament to our team’s hard work and the trust our customers place in our brand,” said Managing Director Azhar Zouq.
Lancashire Farm has also increased investments in manufacturing technology to further improve productivity and quality, which it expects will drive continued growth and enhance margins in the future.
