Krones Group Consolidates Process Technology Under Krones Processing
Krones Group has reorganised the market presentation of its process-technology business under the name Krones Processing. The move concerns the brand identity used for the business rather than its corporate structure: the existing companies and their areas of expertise are to continue unchanged.
The group said the unified presentation is intended to make its offering more transparent and simplify access to its process-technology solutions. Krones Processing will bring together capabilities used in the production, processing and treatment of products ranging from liquids to highly viscous materials.
The business serves beverage and liquid-food producers, as well as customers in home and personal care and bioprocessing. Its activities cover the processing chain from receiving and storing raw materials to thermal processing and finishing treatments for different products.
Alongside complete systems, the portfolio includes individual equipment and components. These include valves, pumps, heat exchangers and homogenisers. Krones Processing also plans and delivers fully integrated processing lines, including the automation systems required for their operation.
The new brand encompasses Krones AG’s Process Technology business unit and teams based in Germany, China, the Middle East, North America and South America. It also includes subsidiaries in several regions. In Europe, these are Evoguard, GHS, HST, Krones Processing Netherlands, Milkron, Perfinox and Steinecker.
The North American companies included in Krones Processing are Ampco Pumps, Javlyn and Krones Process Group North America. The Asian businesses are Krones Izumi, Krones Processing India and Krones Processing Shanghai. The companies will operate within the Krones Group’s international structure under the shared processing brand.
