After nearly a decade of shaping food safety and public health standards across Australia and New Zealand, Jo Davey is finishing her term on the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) Board.

"Well, after eight years of service on the Board of australia-new-zealand/">Food Standards Australia New Zealand, I have mixed feelings as my term comes to an end. It has been a privilege to work closely with such skilled, smart and dedicated colleagues both around the board table and within the agency. I regard helping to shape food safety and public health standards in Australia and New Zealand as one of the most important roles I have played in my career to date.
Thank you to co-retiring board members suzanne-chetwin-llb-cnzm-b4bba710/">Suzanne Chetwin LLB CNZM and john-hart-66872a/">John Hart who have worked beside me during my time on the board, and to our Chair Glenys Beauchamp AO PSM for your consultative leadership.
Congratulations to CEO sandra-cuthbert-900731111/">Sandra Cuthbert for the way you have transformed the agency over the past few years and are leading your talented team of scientists and other professionals in support of a robust and collaborative binational food regulation system. Thank you also to all my co board members, including the many previous members and past Chair Robyn Kruk AM.
I wish the FSANZ board and staff all the very best as you navigate the changing food safety and public health policy and regulatory environment."
