Global Dairy Trade Index Rises for the Sixth Consecutive Time at March 17 Auction
The dairy product price index at this week's semi-monthly Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction rose by 0.1% compared to the previous auction, reaching 5.2%. This marks the sixth consecutive increase in the GDT price index.
At this week's auction, which saw participation from 155 traders with 98 emerging as winners, prices increased for cheddar, mozzarella, skim milk powder, and anhydrous milk fat, while prices for whole milk powder, butter, and lactose decreased.
