President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko dismissed his assistant, inspector for the Vitebsk region, Igor Brylo, “in connection with committing an offense incompatible with the civil service.” The press service of the President of Belarus reported this on November 27.
“Igor Brylo has been relieved of his post as assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus - inspector for the Vitebsk region in connection with committing an offense incompatible with being in the state civil service. The corresponding Decree No. 374 was signed by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko,” the message says .
Earlier, the publication “Nasha Niva” (recognized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus as an extremist formation) reported, citing its sources, that the former head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, Igor Brylo, was detained. The publication connected this circumstance with the “dairy case”, in which large-scale corruption schemes were revealed in dairy industry.
