Graham's Family Dairy Introduces UK's First Layered High-Protein Cottage Cheese

Graham's Family Dairy, a renowned Scottish dairy brand, has introduced the UK’s first layered high-protein cottage cheese. This product combines traditional cottage cheese with a fruit layer, available in strawberry and peach flavors. Each 200g pot provides 25g of protein and contains fewer than 200 calories, targeting consumers interested in convenient, nutrient-dense food options.

According to Robert Graham, the managing director, the resurgence of cottage cheese is driven by a shift towards high-protein, minimally processed foods. Graham's Family Dairy has reported a nearly 30% increase in sales of cottage cheese over the past year, highlighting the growing demand.

To accommodate this growth, Graham's Family Dairy has invested £3.5 million in its Glenfield site located in Fife, enhancing its production capacity by 50%. This strategic move is expected to support the increasing consumer interest and demand for their products.

The layered high-protein cottage cheese is currently available exclusively at Tesco stores across the UK, expanding Graham's established range of cottage cheese offerings. The company, founded in the 1930s, remains a family-operated business, deeply rooted in Scottish agriculture.

Graham’s Family Dairy produces a broad spectrum of dairy products, including milk, butter, yogurt, kefir, and protein-focused items, sourcing milk from carefully selected Scottish farms.
