With nearly 783 million people on our planet who go hungry every day, nutritious, sustainable, affordable and accessible food must be a top priority. Dairy can provide these solutions and more.
Global food insecurity is a real issue — one that’s only going to get more challenging. According to the FAO, as the global population expands from the current 8 billion people toward 10 billion people worldwide by 2050, we will need 70% more food.

A tremendous disconnect is revealed when viewing this reality in contrast to the misinformation efforts designed to falsely vilify agriculture — specifically livestock and dairy — while putting forth unsustainable initiatives under the premise of being good for the health of the planet and people with the tired, misguided call to replace meat and dairy with options like plant-based, bacteria-grown synthetic alternatives or even insect-based foods.

However, if true environmental and nutritional science is applied to the challenge of feeding a growing world, then sustainably and efficiently produced, nutrient-dense food must be accessible to all people — especially those most vulnerable and at risk. Dairy provides these solutions and more.
