The National Food Agency of Georgia confirms the adherence of dairy products to safety standards.

The Head of Georgia’s National Food Agency, Zurab Chekurashvili, assured the public that all dairy products currently available—from both local and imported sources—comply with safety standards and are safe for consumption.
Chekurashvili emphasized that imported batches from all countries will be subject to stringent inspections with a ‘double filter’ system. In response to concerns about aflatoxins in certain batches of "Soplis Nobati" milk, the Agency has fully withdrawn these products from the market, complying with international standards. Earlier reports highlighted excessive aflatoxin M1 levels in imported milk samples, leading to the removal of affected products.
