FrieslandCampina WAMCO Unveils Innovative Peak Dairy Creamer in Nigeria

Dairy company FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC has launched a new product, Peak Dairy Creamer, which aims to transform ordinary tea and coffee into extraordinary experiences. This innovative creamer, made from high-quality skimmed milk, offers a perfect blend without lumps and is especially tasty for both tea and coffee.

The company's new offering stands out due to its inclusion of dairy, providing more protein intake than non-dairy creamers. This aligns with FrieslandCampina WAMCO's mission to nourish Nigerians with quality dairy nutrition while expanding its product portfolio with more accessible options. The Peak Dairy Creamer is crafted from carefully selected skimmed milk and milk solids, offering a superior taste and valuable nutrition. It is a good source of calcium as well as Vitamins A and D. Conveniently, it comes in single-serve packaging suitable for individual use.

According to Senior Brand Manager, Moronke Adisa-Abayomi, "Peak Dairy Creamer represents our commitment to innovation and quality, meeting our consumers’ needs while considering their pocket." She emphasized that whether it's a morning tea or an afternoon coffee break, the creamer promises to make every sip a moment of goodness.

The product was launched in Nigeria in January 2025 in response to the increasing demand for affordable dairy options amid rising inflation. Between April and June 2025, a consumer experiential campaign titled “Taste the Goodness” was conducted across 28 regions, engaging over 14,000 Nigerians through wet sampling of the new product. This campaign not only boosted brand awareness but also encouraged trials and generated demand for Peak Dairy Creamer.

Moreover, the campaign incorporated in-store shopper activations in both general trade and key secondary markets. The product was introduced to the wider Peak brand family, with consumers able to taste and purchase the creamer at major retail outlets nationwide.
