Flora Food Group Launches Red Barn Creamery Butter in the U.S.
Flora Food Group has announced the launch of Red Barn Creamery Butter, crafted in Kansas using 100% American cream. The butter is batch-churned to achieve an 84% butterfat content, making it one of the highest available on the market. This approach results in a rich, creamy texture and deep flavor, suitable for a variety of culinary applications.
Red Barn Creamery Butter is offered in both salted and unsalted 8-ounce blocks, with each block equivalent to one cup or two standard sticks of butter. This makes it convenient for use in various recipes. The butter holds the U.S. Grade AA rating, which is the highest grade awarded by the USDA, reflecting its superior quality.
To promote Red Barn Creamery Butter, Flora Food Group has partnered with culinary experts such as Sarah Fennel, founder of Broma Bakery, and Iron Chef Marc Forgione. They have tested the butter in diverse recipes such as pie crusts, cookies, and roasted chicken, praising its performance and quality.
Olga Osminkina-Jones, Chief Marketing Officer of Flora Food Group, emphasized that Red Barn Creamery Butter embodies American dairy craftsmanship and is built to perform in kitchens across the country. The butter is positioned as a cornerstone in cooking, offering a reliable foundation for flavor and texture.
Red Barn Creamery Butter is currently available at select grocery stores and national retailers, with a suggested retail price of $4.49 per 8-ounce block. It will be nationally available later in the summer.
Flora Food Group, known for brands like Violife® and Country Crock®, aims to deliver high-quality culinary essentials. The group achieved net sales of approximately EUR 3.0 billion in 2025 and employs around 4,600 people worldwide.
