EuroTier 2026 to Showcase Robotics, Genetics and New Forage Production Technologies at DLG Spotlights
The organizers expect more than 2,100 companies and organizations from over 50 countries. The exhibition will occupy 13 halls covering approximately 220,000 square metres. EnergyDecentral and the Inhouse Farming — Feed & Food Show will take place alongside EuroTier. DLG
One of the main platforms for the dairy sector will be the Barn Robot Event in Hall 13. Milking equipment manufacturers will demonstrate robotic systems in operation. The programme will focus on three scenarios: converting conventional milking parlours to robotic milking, developing new automated facilities, and using robots on large farms.
According to DLG, a single milking robot can perform up to 200 milkings per day. Automation can reduce physical workloads, improve operational accuracy, and partially address labour shortages. Robotic systems are also used for feeding, manure removal, and bedding application. DLG
The TopTierTreff in Hall 11 will serve as a meeting place for German and international companies involved in dairy and beef cattle breeding. Participants will present modern selection strategies, genetic programmes, and breeding objectives.
The animal presentation format will change in 2026: cattle will remain at exhibitors’ stands and will be shown on a panoramic screen. The organizers expect this approach to create more space for professional discussions and eliminate the need to move animals to a separate demonstration area.
The new Forage Production showcase in Hall 12 will focus on the use of intelligent technologies in forage production. Exhibitors will present solutions for managing forage quality throughout the process—from cutting grass and maize to producing silage.
The programme will be complemented by Forage Days on November 12 and 13. The cattle expert stage will cover needs-based feeding of ruminants, feed efficiency, and the impact of ration quality on productivity. DLG
Another spotlight will focus on reducing emissions from pig and poultry production. At the Emission Reductionshowcase, companies will present technologies intended to lower environmental impacts, support animal health, and maintain farm profitability.
The Innovation Boulevard, making its debut in 2026, will provide a central location for developments entered in the EuroTier and EnergyDecentral Innovation Awards. Visitors will be able to explore new solutions for animal housing, feeding, farm management, and energy.
The DLG Solar Initiative + On-Farm Energy spotlight will be held as part of the concurrent EnergyDecentral exhibition. Participants will present opportunities for using agrivoltaics, battery storage systems, and biogas. Particular attention will be paid to integrating energy solutions into existing farm infrastructure, increasing energy self-sufficiency, and creating additional sources of income.
The Inhouse Farming: Circular Economy spotlight in Hall 24 will focus on alternative protein production and circular production systems. The areas presented will include insect farming, aquaculture, fungi, microalgae, and other controlled-environment technologies for producing food and feed ingredients.
For the dairy industry, these spotlights will form part of the new EuroTier Milky Way format, which will bring together solutions covering the entire milk production chain—from genetics, animal housing, and forage production to milking, cooling, processing, and marketing. The exhibition will be located across Halls 11, 12, and 13. EuroTier
A total of nine expert stages will operate at EuroTier 2026. Discussions will cover cattle breeding and feeding, animal health, biosecurity, pig and poultry welfare, emission reduction, market prospects, digitalization, and intelligent livestock farm management.
