Elite Cow Sales Achieve High Prices at Global Connections Event
The Global Connections Online Sale, which took place during the UK Dairy Expo, featured top-tier cattle achieving significant sale prices. One standout was Cattlearch Mystique Scarlett, which sold for £10,000, marking the highest price at the event. This heifer, born in April 2025, is a daughter of Mystique Avenger and comes from a distinguished lineage, including Glenirvine Unix Sally EX96, known for her accolades at major dairy events.
Heifers in milk at the sale averaged £4,100, while heifer calves reached an average of £5,667. Additionally, embryos were offered, fetching an average price of £614 each, with some reaching up to £950. The top-selling embryos were from Boghill Glamour Hurrican Carlin D EX94, a leading genomic total performance index Hurricane daughter.
Among other notable sales, Evening Sidekick Jennifer 13 from the Evening Holsteins herd sold for £8,000. This heifer is a full sister to the Grand Holstein Champion at the UK Dairy Expo. Annaghmore Salutes Atlee, a granddaughter of the current Grand Champion Annaghmore Fitz Atlee EX96, also drew attention, selling for £7,200 to the Haffeys of Co. Armagh.
