Ehrmann Cornish Dairy Rebrands Trewithen Dairy to Cornish Dairy Co.

Ehrmann Cornish Dairy has officially announced that it will rebrand Trewithen Dairy to Cornish Dairy Co., starting in April 2026. This change is part of a strategy to enhance brand recognition and achieve continued national growth in the premium dairy sector. The new branding will be rolled out across grocery channels, focusing on the Cornish heritage of the products.

The rebranding follows a visual update in 2024 and an acquisition by Ehrmann, after which Trewithen Dairy saw a sales increase of 11% in 2025. The shift to Cornish Dairy Co. aims to make the brand identity clearer and more meaningful for consumers across the UK. Notably, prior testing indicated a preference for the new branding, with over 60% of consumers favoring it over the previous Trewithen Dairy branding.

Emma Lawes, Head of Marketing at Cornish Dairy Co., stated that the rebrand is a celebration of the company’s true identity and its commitment to quality. She emphasized the importance of connecting shoppers with the brand's Cornish heritage while maintaining the high-quality dairy products that consumers expect.

The rollout of Cornish Dairy Co. packaging, marketing, and communications will commence in April 2026, with products expected to appear on shelves nationwide from April 22, 2026. The full product range will feature the new packaging throughout April and May 2026, supported by marketing campaigns to build awareness of the new brand identity.

The company assures that longstanding partnerships with local Cornish farmers will continue, ensuring the same quality of products that Trewithen Dairy is known for remains intact.
