dsm-firmenich becomes a partner of AqAltyn 2026

dsm-firmenich operates in nutrition, health and beauty. According to the company, its sales from continuing operations exceed €9 billion, and it employs around 21,000 people. Its dairy business is part of the Taste, Texture & Health division. For the dairy industry, the company produces starter cultures for yogurt and fermented milk products, enzymes for cheesemaking, lactase for lactose-free products under the Maxilact brand, bioprotection solutions, and tests for antibiotic residues in milk.

In 2025, the company opened the Van Marken Food Innovation Center in Delft, the Netherlands, with application laboratories for the dairy industry, including cheesemaking.
