Danone USA Recalls Salted Caramel Non-Dairy Dessert Over Foreign Material

Danone USA announced a voluntary recall on September 15 of So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert sold in pint containers. The company said the affected product may contain foreign material, including small stones and other hard objects, within the cashew inclusions.

The recall covers units with best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028. The product identification details are SKU 136603 and UPC 744473476138. Danone said no other So Delicious Dairy Free codes, flavours or products are included in the action.

The recalled pints were distributed to retail shops across the United States. Danone is coordinating with its retail partners to take the affected items off store shelves. Products outside the specified dates and codes remain available, and items shipped in the future are not part of the recall.

The company said it identified the issue through complaints from consumers and notified the Food and Drug Administration. Danone did not provide a quantity for the affected product or identify the retail chains that received it.

Consumers who bought product covered by the recall should not eat it. They can seek a replacement coupon or refund by contacting the So Delicious Dairy Free Consumer Care Line at 1-833-367-8975. Specialists are available from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 6pm Eastern time.
