Creamline Dairy Products Reports Decline in Q4 2024 Profits Despite Sales Growth

Creamline Dairy Products has reported a decline in its net profit for the quarter ending December 2024, despite a modest growth in sales. The company's net profit fell by 15.01%, amounting to Rs 4.36 crore, compared to Rs 5.13 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter.

Sales for the quarter, however, showed a slight increase of 1.00%, climbing to Rs 369.83 crore from Rs 366.18 crore in December 2023. Despite this growth in sales, the company's operating profit margin (OPM) decreased from 5.23% to 4.87%.

Looking at other financial metrics, the profit before depreciation and taxes (PBDT) increased by 5% to Rs 14.95 crore, while the profit before tax (PBT) rose by 14% to Rs 5.84 crore, signaling some positive performance indicators within the company's financial framework.
