Conaprole Drives Ice Cream Packaging Recycling with a Focus on Sustainability

Conaprole, in collaboration with Atma and Nuevocentro Shopping, initiated a recycling campaign for ice cream packaging in exchange for reusable bags between October and December 2024. The initiative involved more than 7,500 packs and saw a 35% increase in participation compared to the previous year.

With the collected packaging, nearly 5,000 pitchers were produced, which were subsequently donated to the Food Bank to be distributed to various social centers. One of the beneficiaries, the Los Rosales Foundation located in Casavalle, received about 300 pitchers for its work with children and adolescents.

According to Conaprole executives, such actions follow a triple-impact strategy combining environmental sustainability, social action, and corporate commitment, aiming to involve consumers, companies, and society.

The campaign is set to relaunch at Nuevocentro Shopping starting in September of this year, expanding the program's reach and attempting to consolidate these types of initiatives as regular recycling and donation policies.
