Chile Will Host Pan-American Young Dairy Farmers in 2027

The seventh Pan-American Young Dairy Farmers Meeting is due to take place in Chile in October 2027. The event will bring together young people involved in dairy farming from countries across the Americas.

Organisers say the meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to share experience related to milk production. The programme will also address the use of technology in dairy farming and the renewal of the sector’s generations.

The gathering is intended to connect participants from different national backgrounds. Its central format will be an exchange of experiences, covering the practical and organisational issues identified for discussion at the meeting.

Fedeleche will oversee the local organisation in Chile. The organisation’s role places it in charge of arranging the host-country component of the event, which is scheduled for October rather than an unspecified date in 2027.

The meeting will be the seventh edition of the Pan-American event. Its planned themes—milk production, technology and generational renewal—will form the basis for discussions among the participating young dairy farmers when they meet in Chile.
