Chernogolovka has closed a deal to buy Kraft Heinz baby food business in Russia

As reported in the press release of the Group, the buyer was the holding company of the group - JSC Aqualife Resource. Two baby food factories located in Ivanovo and Georgievsk (Stavropol Territory) became her property. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

According to Natalia Sakhnina, CEO of Chernogolovka Group, quoted in a press release, all jobs at the plants in Ivanovo and Georgievsk will be saved. Chernogolovka will launch a new brand on the market, which will be presented to partners and retail chains in the spring. To ensure a smooth transition, Chernogolovka will continue to produce products under the Heinz brand for 6 months after the completion of the transaction.

Chernogolovka has been operating since 1998, and for many years has been known on the market as a manufacturer of traditional lemonades and bottled water. Since 2016, the company has been developing new business lines. Since 2023, it has been represented on the market by three large divisions: beverages, food and baby food. The group consists of 15 plants.
