BV Dairy Celebrates First Anniversary with Green Initiative

BV Dairy, a staple in the Shaftesbury community, has celebrated its first anniversary under the ownership of First Milk in a remarkable way. The dairy marked this milestone on February 14 by planting one tree for each day of its first year as a part of the First Milk cooperative.
The tree planting took place at Woodhouse Farm in Trowbridge, owned by First Milk member Lucy Noad, where colleagues from both BV Dairy and First Milk participated in the initiative. This event symbolizes the company's dedication towards environmental sustainability and underscores the successful synergy built between BV Dairy and its parent cooperative over the past year.
Since joining First Milk, BV Dairy has bolstered its reputation for quality and customer service while exploring new opportunities, such as products focused on gut health. The partnership between BV Dairy and First Milk has facilitated a sharing of expertise, allowing both parties to capitalize on their collective strengths.
Greg Jardine, First Milk’s Chief Financial Officer and BV Business Unit Director, commended the integration of BV Dairy, highlighting the exceptional dedication and skill of the BV team. Jardine expressed optimism about the future: “Bringing BV Dairy into the First Milk family has been a fantastic step forward for our business. We look forward to building on this strong foundation in the years to come and have some exciting plans in the short term.”
