BioFiltro Secures $35 Million to Expand Dairy Wastewater Treatment Solutions
BioFiltro, Inc., headquartered in Davis, California, has received a $35 million strategic investment fr om Jordanelle Capital, a private equity firm based in Utah. This investment will support BioFiltro's efforts to expand its presence in the dairy sector and other industries requiring efficient wastewater treatment solutions.
The company utilizes a patented BIDA® System which removes up to 98% of contaminants from wastewater through a natural process. This technology is particularly beneficial for the dairy industry, wh ere it offers significant reductions in energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, and operating costs compared to traditional systems.
Steve Rowe, Executive Chairman of BioFiltro, highlighted the company's commitment to extending its reach in the dairy sector, emphasizing the sustainability and profitability of their solutions.
