Baker & Baker, a European manufacturer of bakery products, has developed the products under its licensing arrangement with Mondelēz. The launch consists of a Cadbury Dairy Milk Brownie and a Dairy Milk Flapjack Bar, each sold as an individual portion in packaging carrying the Cadbury Dairy Milk branding.

The brownie combines a cocoa base with a soft texture and a strong chocolate flavour. The flapjack has a chewy, oat-based composition. Both products are finished with a topping of Dairy Milk chocolate.

This is Baker & Baker’s first bakery range designed for meal deals. The company said the products would be offered within standard meal-deal formats through its retail customers.

The brownie bars went on sale at Morrisons when the range was launched. Tesco is scheduled to begin selling them in September, while the company said additional retail listings were being considered.

The products are being introduced as the UK retail food-to-go sector is forecast to record compound annual growth of 4.5% between 2026 and 2031, according to IGD. Research from Mintel cited by the companies found that 66% of consumers would purchase a snack bar as part of a meal deal.

Michael Bancroft, Baker & Baker’s licensing director, said the products were intended to meet demand in the food-to-go category for familiar brands, flavours and textures. Baker & Baker holds an exclusive Mondelēz licence to manufacture and distribute fresh bakery products, including Milka, Oreo and Cadbury, in key European markets.
