Atlante Acquires L’INTERFORM as Part of Dairy Sector Transition
According to an official statement, Atlante has integrated the operations of L’INTERFORM into a broader platform that emphasizes international sourcing, product development, logistics, and market access. The Italian company has been active in the food sector for over 30 years and maintains a partnership with Migros, the largest retailer in Switzerland.
The acquisition occurs amidst ongoing consolidation in the European dairy industry. The choice of Atlante aims to ensure operational continuity, maintain commercial relationships, and support L’INTERFORM's future growth through a more extensive market structure.
Simultaneously, GERBER-RAUTH is bolstering its strategy focused on the 'Dairy Ecosystem,' a concept that encompasses investments in dairy, plant-based alternatives, specialized nutrition, food technology, and new food production approaches.
In recent years, GERBER-RAUTH has invested in alternative proteins, infant nutrition, food biotechnology, and science-based production models. The sale of L’INTERFORM marks a clearer distinction between traditional operational assets and areas deemed strategic for the next innovation cycle in the sector.
This transaction is more than an isolated corporate operation. It signifies a shift in capital historically linked to the European dairy trade towards new positions in a food chain increasingly connected to technology, nutritional differentiation, and industrial innovation.
