Arla Appoints New UK Supply Chain Leader

Leeds-based Arla Foods UK has named Fran Ball as their new Senior Vice President of UK Supply Chain. Previously serving as the Vice President for Production, Fran Ball is set to lead both production and logistics. Her new role involves overseeing 2,800 colleagues to reinforce the company’s 'farm to fridge' supply chain strategy.

With over 20 years of manufacturing experience, Fran Ball is dedicated to nurturing diverse future leaders and advancing the company's operational capabilities. "Leading UK production has been a huge privilege," Ball stated, highlighting the achievements in manufacturing excellence and building an inclusive culture.

Her predecessor, Bas Padberg, managing director for Arla Foods UK, expressed his support: "I’m thrilled to welcome Fran into her new role as SVP of UK supply chain. Over the past three years she has demonstrated outstanding leadership, driving innovation and efficiency across our UK sites."
