Applications are now open for the 2025 Entrepreneurs in Dairying program, which serves as the sector's premier business training course for ambitious next-gen farmers. The programme runs from late September to November 2025 and targets individuals in the dairy industry aiming to expand their roles through various ventures such as tenancies or joint ventures. Delivered by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) alongside the NFU, AHDB, and the Andersons Centre, the course provides expert-led sessions that cover vital topics like business planning, finance, taxation, and leadership. Having supported over 450 participants, the programme offers practical training split across the Midlands and North, Scotland, and South regions for better accessibility.
Enrollees will learn about milk markets, dairy supply chains, and critical business structures along with people management and branding strategies. The course welcomes individuals aged 20 and over with some dairy experience. With limited spots available, early application is advised.
