The dairy-based snack extends Amul's range of protein-focused nutrition products. It is aimed at health-conscious buyers, fitness enthusiasts and people seeking convenient ways to add protein to their daily diets.

The product comes in a box with five separately wrapped servings and five seasoning sachets. The individual packs are intended for eating at home, in the workplace or during travel.

The seasoning options are Peri Peri, Korean Kimchi, Tandoori, Cheese & Herbs and Tomato. To prepare a serving, consumers empty a sachet into the pack of cubes, close the pack and shake it to distribute the seasoning. The crunchy snack requires no cooking.

Suggested uses also include adding the cubes to gravies to raise their protein content, or putting them in soup as a crunchy topping similar to croutons. Another preparation combines the cubes with chopped onion, tomato and chutneys to make a protein-rich version of bhel.

The launch broadens the formats in which Amul offers dairy-based nutrition beyond milk, paneer, yoghurt and cheese. The cubes are intended both for eating on their own and for incorporating into familiar meals, including for consumers seeking alternatives to conventional fried snacks.

The introduction comes amid increasing Indian demand for protein-rich foods and interest in products combining nutrition with convenience. Amul is expanding its value-added dairy range to cater to changing food preferences, greater awareness of protein requirements and demand for different ways to consume protein.
