Wright Family Dairy Wins Supreme Title at International Awards

The Wright Family Dairy, based in Stafford, has been awarded the Supreme Dairy Product title at the prestigious International Cheese and Dairy Awards. This event, held at the Staffordshire County Showground, attracted more than 4,000 entries from countries around the world, including participation from New Zealand.

Lowri Wright, representing the family business, expressed that receiving this recognition was "such an honour." The dairy, known for its herd of pedigree Jersey cows, has been operating for over 50 years in the local area. Wright highlighted the pride and passion that the family invests in their operations.

Four years ago, the Wright Family Dairy began a direct sales venture, which involves pasteurising their own milk. This initiative has been part of their commitment to sustainability and reducing food miles. Wright emphasized the significance of the cows in their business, referring to them as the "stars."

The award signifies not only local recognition but also an international acknowledgment of their quality produce. The family feels "super proud" of this achievement, seeing it as a testament to their dedication and care for their livestock and products.
