The World Dairy Expo is honoring individuals for their exceptional contributions to the dairy industry during the 2025 Expo Recognition Awards.

The World Dairy Expo® has announced the recipients of the 2025 Expo Recognition Awards, recognizing individuals making significant contributions to the dairy industry.
These awardees, chosen by their peers, have impacted their communities and the industry at large. The Recognition Awards Banquet will take place on October 1, 2025.

Dairy Producers of the Year
Ken, Mike, Tom, Dave, and Clay McCarty of McCarty Family Farms were acknowledged for their dedication to producing high-quality milk while maintaining animal welfare and sustainable practices.
They operate the world's largest registered herd of Holsteins, producing Non-GMO Project Verified milk for Danone North America.
Industry Person of the Year
Jim Mulhern, former President and CEO of the National Milk Producers Federation, was recognized for his dedication to U.S. dairy farm families and industry-wide advancements.
International Person of the Year
Juan F. Moreno, CEO and Co-Founder of STgenetics, was honored for his pioneering work in livestock industry innovations, including gender-sorted semen technologies and EcoFeed™.
The World Dairy Expo, the global meeting point for the dairy industry, will be held in Madison, Wisconsin from September 30 to October 3, 2025, showcasing a variety of events and advancements in the dairy field.
