Winners celebrate at the successful Welsh Dairy Show
A photo feature from the Welsh Dairy Show in Carmarthen records the event held this week and the exhibitors recognised among its winners. The package contains 11 images and identifies the Supreme Champion Cow and Reserve Champion entries.
The Supreme Champion Cow was listed as entry 270, presented by AH Wilson & Son with Rhydygors Lambda Flute 5. The result appears in the caption accompanying the lead image in the photo feature.
Entry 278, shown with Ben & Nia Llewellin and named Riverside Victorious Hazelnut 4, was identified as Reserve Champion. The caption places the two awards together, with the Supreme Champion Cow listed first.
The Welsh Dairy Show issued a thank-you to people who attended or contributed to the event. A spokesperson addressed traders attending for the first time, returning traders and cattle exhibitors, saying that the organisers appreciated their support and contribution.
The organisers also thanked the show’s sponsors. The spokesperson said that the sponsors’ continued backing made the show possible, without giving a figure for the financial support or naming individual sponsors.
Visitors were thanked as well. The spokesperson referred to people who came for business ideas, opportunities or a day out, and said the organisers looked forward to seeing them again next year. No date for the next show was provided.
