Agricultural Gross Output in Kazakhstan Increased by 5.4% Over Ten Months

From January to October 2025, the gross agricultural output in Kazakhstan reached 8.1 trillion tenge, which is 5.4% higher than the same period last year, reports Dairynews.today citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
Agricultural Gross Output in Kazakhstan Increased by 5.4% Over Ten Months

The growth was driven by an increase in production volumes in crop production by 6.7% and livestock production by 3.4%.

In the livestock sector over nine months:

  • meat production in slaughter weight increased by 2.6% to 816.3 thousand tons;

  • cow milk production rose by 5.7%, reaching 3 million tons;

  • the number of cattle increased by 1.1% (to 8.5 million heads),
    horses by 6.4% (to 4.5 million heads),
    camels by 4.5% (to 299.7 thousand heads),
    poultry by 6.5% (to 49 million heads).

The food industry also shows positive dynamics: over 10 months, food production increased by 9.1% to 3.2 trillion tenge, and beverage production by 8.7%, reaching 1.0 trillion tenge.

Significant growth was recorded for key types of products:

  • sugar — +13%,

  • canned meat — +38.6%,

  • vegetable oil — +21.7%,

  • sausage products — +7.8%,

  • butter — +19%,

  • fermented dairy products — +6.6%.
