Production of Dried Mare, Camel, and Donkey Milk for Export Launched in Karaganda Region
The production facility is located in the village of Ushtobe in the Bukhar-Zhyrau district. The products are marketed under the KaMei brand and are primarily intended for export markets. The first batch has already been shipped to the USA and the United Arab Emirates. The company plans future deliveries to the UK, Saudi Arabia, EU countries, China, and Russia.
Construction of the enterprise began in 2024 and was implemented with state support. Currently, the plant employs 50 people, mostly local residents. As production expands, additional jobs are expected to be created.
The plant is equipped with modern European equipment, and all technological processes are conducted under sterile conditions. Two drying technologies are used:
-
freeze-drying at low temperatures,
-
spray drying at temperatures above 100 degrees.
This allows the market to offer products with different nutrient retention characteristics.
According to the company's director, Galymzhan Meirambekov, up to 5 tons of mare's milk are processed daily. The next development phase will be the launch of production of infant formula. The formula is being developed considering that mare's milk is 90% similar to human breast milk in protein composition.
The project also plays a crucial role for the region's livestock breeders, providing a stable channel for raw material sales. Collaboration with local farmers has already begun.
