Increase in Production of Cream and Sour Cream Recorded in Azerbaijan

From January to October this year, 8,534.6 tons of cream and sour cream were produced in Azerbaijan. This figure is 3.1% higher compared to the same period in 2024.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, alongside the increase in the production of cream and sour cream, there was a decrease in the production volumes of cheese and cottage cheese in the country. During the reporting period, the production of these products fell by 3.4% year-on-year, totaling 44,261.7 tons.
As of November 1, the stocks of cream and sour cream in the republic reached 0.7 tons, which is seven times more compared to the previous year. The stocks of cheese and cottage cheese amounted to 47.2 tons, increasing by 20.7% year-on-year.
