Kazakhstan's Minister of Agriculture, Aidarbek Saparov, participated in the opening of the Neo Milk plant, which specializes in the deep processing of goat and mare's milk, in the village of Zhibek Zholy, Karasay District, during his working visit to the Almaty region. This was reported by Dairynews.today, citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The enterprise is equipped with modern European equipment and innovative technologies. Its capacity is 50 tons of milk per day, with plans to increase to 150 tons. The product line will include infant formulas, dietary products, powdered milk, and cheeses that meet international quality standards.

The investment in the project amounted to 4.5 billion tenge. In the future, the plant plans to expand its range by processing mare's and camel's milk, as well as to export to China, Russia, and other foreign markets.

"Today, we are reaching a new level of development in the agro-industrial complex. Deep processing of dairy products is one of the key areas to ensure the country's food security. The launch of this plant will provide the domestic market with quality products and open up new export opportunities. Additionally, the enterprise will create jobs and strengthen the social wellbeing of rural residents"," emphasized Marat Sultangaziev, akim of Almaty Region.
