In 2024, Veterinary and Sanitary Measures in Kyrgyzstan Covered 17.9 Million Animals

The ministry's press service clarified that the planned targets for the first nine months of 2025 were achieved at 102%. The Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, which is also responsible for the development of livestock, pastures, and feed production, summarized the results at a meeting held in the department.
The leadership noted that measures for the prevention and control of infectious diseases remain a priority to ensure the biosecurity and export potential of livestock.
It was also reported that as of October 18, the Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture had utilized 69.6% of the budget planned for 2025.
