Uzbekistan and United Green Group Plan Major Dairy Project
On July 1, 2026, Uzbekistan and United Green Group finalized a trilateral action plan to advance a significant agricultural investment project. The initiative aims to develop an integrated farming, dairy farming, and dairy production system within Uzbekistan. The agreement was formalized during a meeting between Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Akram Aliyev, and United Green Group's Investment Director, Albrecht Frischenschlager.
The Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan announced that the discussions centered on enhancing investment cooperation and expediting the execution of the proposed agricultural project. This project is expected to implement modern technologies throughout the farming and dairy value chain.
According to the ministry's statement, the initiative will support the modernization of Uzbekistan's agricultural sector by enhancing production efficiency, bolstering food processing capabilities, and promoting sustainable farming practices. At the end of the meeting, both parties signed a trilateral Action Plan outlining the next steps for the project's implementation.
The ministry emphasized that the signing of the Action Plan demonstrates the parties' shared commitment to the project's successful execution and the development of a mutually beneficial partnership. Uzbekistan has been actively pursuing foreign investment in agriculture as part of broader reforms aimed at increasing food security, boosting exports, and integrating advanced technologies into the agro-industrial sector.
The collaboration with United Green Group is anticipated to contribute significantly to these objectives by fostering innovation, attracting investment, and creating new opportunities for value-added agricultural production. This strategic partnership is seen as a vital step in achieving the country's long-term agricultural goals.
The project is positioned to play a crucial role in Uzbekistan's efforts to modernize its agricultural practices and increase its presence in global agricultural markets through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices.
