Uruguay Achieves Record Dairy Export Levels Since 2013
In October 2025, Uruguay exported a total of 47,778 tons of dairy products, marking a significant achievement in the country's dairy industry. This volume represents the highest level of dairy exports for Uruguay since 2013. Over the first ten months of 2025, the nation's dairy export revenue increased by 19% in dollar terms compared to the previous year.
This growth in export figures is attributed to various factors, including increased demand for Uruguayan dairy products in international markets. The dairy sector is a crucial component of Uruguay's economy, contributing significantly to its export revenue.
The positive trend in dairy exports reflects the sector's resilience and ability to adapt to global market conditions. The increased export volumes and revenue are expected to further bolster the country's agricultural sector, which plays a vital role in Uruguay's overall economic performance.
