The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, at a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, Ebubekir Gizligider, noted that cooperation with the Republic of Turkey in agriculture is one of the priority areas for Kazakhstan. Aidarbek Saparov made a proposal to continue working to increase mutual trade and expand the range of supplied goods. According to the Kazakh minister, Kazakhstan is interested in developing cooperation between countries in terms of processing agricultural products.

“The Ministry is ready to assist Turkish investors and look for partners from the Kazakh side,” Aidarbek Saparov emphasized.

He recalled that Kazakhstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, which expands opportunities for exporting locally produced products.

The proposals of the head of the Ministry of Agriculture were supported by Ebubekir Gizligider, citing the words of President Recep Erdogan that “Kazakhstan is a country in which Turkey should invest.” Ebubekir Gizligider noted interest in investments in seed production, greenhouse farming and irrigation development.
