Tirlán Maintains Milk Prices for June Supplies

Tirlán has announced it will maintain its milk price for June at 49.08c/L, including VAT, continuing the rate from May. This figure comprises a base milk price of 48.58c/L and a Sustainability Action Payment of 0.5c/L. Adjustments will be made based on the actual constituents of milk supplied.

The chairperson John Murphy noted the market's seasonal quietness and tariff uncertainties, while mentioning recent distributions of a €3 million Dairy Trading Bonus and €7.7 million in co-op dividends to members. Comparatively, Kerry Dairy Ireland and Dairygold also keep their prices steady at 50.03c/L and 49c/L respectively, reflecting consistent trends across the sector.
