Tirlán Announces November Milk Prices and €5.5 Million Support Package
Tirlán has confirmed a milk price of 36.08c/L, including VAT, for November creamery milk deliveries with 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein. This includes a base price of 35.58c/L and a sustainability action payment of 0.5c/L. The actual average price, considering milk constituents, will be 48.90c/L.
The company has also introduced an unconditional seasonality bonus for milk volumes that do not qualify for liquid premium or the autumn calving scheme. Payments will be 5c/L for December, 7c/L for January, and 5c/L for February, adjusted for milk constituents.
In response to high farm costs, Tirlán has announced a €5.5 million support package for its milk suppliers. This initiative aims to lower costs related to feed and fertiliser while supporting cow performance and milk solids production. Qualified suppliers are eligible for rebates on GAIN Dairy Feed, calf milk replacer, Irish rolled cereal, and straights.
Rebates will be credited to farmers' accounts in the second quarter of 2026, with a second payment run later in the year. Additionally, free anti-parasitic prescriptions will be provided throughout 2026.
Tirlán will also hold business and market outlook sessions across seven regional venues between January 12 and 19, 2026. Chairperson John Murphy encourages shareholders and suppliers to attend these meetings to discuss the market outlook and engage with board members and senior management.
