The Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show 2026 is entering its exhibitor registration phase with strong momentum. Numerous companies from the fields of vertical farming, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), alternative protein sources, aquaculture, fermentation technologies and smart farming have already confirmed their participation.
The Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show 2026 returns to EuroTier 2026
The feature will once again be part of of EuroTier, the world’s leading trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management, taking place from 10 to 13 November 2026 in Hannover, Germany. Growing interest in this special exhibition area highlights its expanding role as the DLG’s central B2B platform for the agricultural and food systems of the future. Closely connected to practical farming, the feature provides expert knowledge, innovations and business opportunities — from feed to food.

The Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show platform complements both EuroTier and EnergyDecentral taking place in parallel, the international leading platform for decentralized energy supply, by adding new perspectives and business models for the agricultural and food value chain. The exhibitions are organized by DLG (German Agricultural Society). Exhibitor registration is currently open. Here

Innovations from CEA to cellular agriculture
The Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show is aimed technology providers, start-ups, research institutions and companies across the entire value chain. In addition to market-ready CEA solutions for insect farming, aquaculture and aquaponics, the 2026 edition will showcase cutting-edge technologies that are shaping tomorrow’s protein production. This includes bioreactors for fungi and microalgae as well as pioneering approaches in inhouse farming and cellular agriculture.

Innovative energy concepts will also play a central role – both among exhibitors and within the interactive technical program, which will highlight synergies with EnergyDecentral. Many of the projects presented in Hannover in November will explore how future protein production can integrate all side streams into the generation of additional raw materials. The goal: closed, cost-efficient and resource-saving circular systems across the value chain.

Given the high demand from international professionals for expertise in these future-oriented fields, organisers expect a further increase in international visitor numbers this year.

“The momentum in the market is enormous”

“The momentum in the market is enormous. More and more companies are recognizing that inhouse farming is a key component of the food systems of the future,” says Marcus Vagt, Head of Energy, Inhouse Farming and New Foods, DLG. “It supports the DLG’s new guiding principle of ‘sustainable productivity growth’, which unites growth and resource conservation. At the same time, inhouse farming enables high product safety because plants and organisms grow in closed, controlled environments – free from climate fluctuations and external influences. This ensures reliable feed and food safety standards.

“Our exhibitors benefit from a highly qualified professional audience, international visibility and an environment that actively promotes innovation. We are delighted with the strong interest already at the start of the registration phase,” Vagt adds.
