The Conclusion of the 5th International Dairy Seminar in Rafaela

The 5th International Dairy Seminar, known as SIL 2025, concluded in Rafaela, Argentina, focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and dialogue among production, industry, and government. Under the theme "A Joint Effort," the event introduced a novel work approach with three simultaneous auditoriums addressing specific issues faced by different stakeholders, including primary production, dairy industries, and government representatives.
Keynote speeches highlighted the necessity of strengthening rural roots and creating conditions for dairy enterprises to consolidate, grow, and transcend generations. Oscar Ernesto Osan from UNL's Faculty of Agrarian Sciences discussed strategies to enhance production matrices through agrobioindustry.
The seminar also reflected on Argentina's return to the International Dairy Federation (FIL), with discussions on democratizing information for the dairy sector and repositioning Argentina on the global dairy map.
