Tetra Pak Unveils Next-Generation Innovations in Food and Beverages at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025
Tetra Pak Arabia Area unveiled a series of strategic initiatives and innovations at Gulfood Manufacturing, reinforcing its leadership in food and beverage packaging and processing.
At the Tetra Pak booth during Gulfood Manufacturing, the company launched " Tetra Pak® Factory OS™"،, its next-generation automation and digital portfolio that enables food and beverage producers to embrace AI-ready, digitally connected factories at Gulfood. The launch was attended by Adolfo Orive, President and CEO of Tetra Pak, alongside members of Tetra Pak’s Executive Leadership Team and Management Leadership teams from various market companies.
Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, Tetra Pak formalized two strategic partnerships aimed at advancing liquid packaging cartons recycling value chain and circularity in the UAE. The first, with Veolia through their RECAPP solution, increases access to consumers to separate liquid packaging cartons for recycling across the Emirates, while the second, with TERRAX, a Dubai-based recycler, focuses on recycling of the polyethylene and aluminium (polyAl) material from Tetra Pak carton packages generated during the recycling process at Union Paper Mills (UPM). This ensures that all components of liquid packaging cartons are recycled in the UAE.
Tetra Pak’s booth also showcased a range of cutting-edge new food innovations developed at the company’s global network of Product Development Centers in 12 countries as well as its New Food Technology Development Centre in Sweden, highlight the company’s pioneering work in leveraging biomass and precision fermentation to create nutritious and shelf stable food concepts using sustainable resources to address the challenge of ensuring sufficient sustenance for a growing population.
Reflecting its continued leadership in packaging innovation and sustainability, Tetra Pak wrapped up its participation at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing by winning the Sustainable Company of the Year Award.
This award recognizes Tetra Pak Arabia’s commitment enable food and beverage producers to become more sustainable in their operations, in addition to the company’s commitment to Net Zero in its own operations and across the value chain, with clear targets in climate and nature, and extends through its regional partnerships in the UAE and in Saudi Arabia.
These milestones collectively highlight Tetra Pak’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the global food and beverage industry, from digital transformation and sustainable packaging to new food innovation.
