EAEU countries increased agricultural production over 10 months of 2023
In January - October 2023, agricultural production in the EAEU countries increased by 0.5% compared to the same period last year.
Growth is observed in Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. The decrease is in Kazakhstan.
There were 4.8% more potatoes harvested than last year, and 1.4% more vegetables.
During this period, the EAEU also increased the production of main types of livestock products: livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) - by 2.3%, milk - by 2.9% , eggs - by 1%.
According to forecasts, agricultural production in the EAEU will increase by 17% by 2025, and by more than 30% by 2030.
