The 35th Sommet de l’Élevage livestock exhibition has concluded in France. According to the organizers, it attracted 139,000 visitors over four days—more than in any previous year of the exhibition. It featured 1,814 exhibitors and around 2,000 animals.

Visitors included approximately 6,500 people from more than 100 countries. The conference programme comprised 200 sessions. Three themed forums were also held for the first time this year, including one devoted to animal health.

The return of cattle was one of the notable developments at the exhibition. No cattle were presented in 2025 because of a lumpy skin disease outbreak in France. The organizers noted that this year’s exhibition took place against the backdrop of a summer drought that affected farms.
