The components are intended for companies producing beverages, dairy and confectionery products, baked goods, and snacks. They will also be utilized by meat processing and poultry farming enterprises.

The Segmenta project is part of Shin-Line Group's program to establish a food cluster in Kazakhstan. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the program aims to attract up to 300 billion tenge in foreign investments, enhance raw material processing, expand export capabilities, and create high-tech jobs.

“The opening of the Segmenta plant is an example of establishing high-tech production of high-value products based on a single cluster,” said Shin Shin, President of Shin-Line Group. He stated that cooperation, international experience, and ingredient localization are expected to contribute to regional development, job creation, and the production of Kazakh food products for the international market.

Previously, Shin-Line announced a collaboration with South Korea's Sungwon for the production of Korean-format ice cream. Additionally, Shin-Line Group and Lotte Global Logistics have agreed to establish the Shin-Line Lotte Global Logistics transportation and logistics operator. Investment in this project is estimated at approximately 1 billion tenge; Lotte Global Logistics will receive 51% of the new company, while Shin-Line will hold 49%. The terms of the partnership are outlined in a memorandum signed in Seoul.
