Shashi Ranjan Named New Managing Director of Danone India

Danone, a global leader in the food and beverage industry, has announced the appointment of Shashi Ranjan as the new Managing Director for its India operations.
Prior to this new role, Ranjan was the President & Country Head at Sebamed India and has held significant positions at Johnson & Johnson, McKinsey & Company, and IBM Consulting. His earlier career also includes serving in various strategic and administrative roles for the Indian Government.
In his capacity as Managing Director, Ranjan will drive Danone’s strategic initiatives across India with an emphasis on expanding the company’s market presence, enhancing partnerships, and promoting sustainable growth. He aims to align Danone India with its global mission of improving health through food for all citizens.
